TT-00-406130A-00500 SAILOR 6130 mini-C LRIT Satellite Terminal Safety and Emergency System
SAILOR 6130 mini-C LRIT
SAILOR 6130 mini-C LRIT enables straightforward compliance to the Long Range Identification & Tracking IMO requirements, through simple operation and reliability.
Fully approved
SAILOR 6130 mini-C LRIT System is approved by Inmarsat and major flag ASP state administrators and is fully compliant with the performance requirements described in IMO Resolution MSC.263(84).
So you can be sure that you are meeting requirements the new Terminal Control Unit enables operators to easily determine system status such as power, Inmarsat log-in and GPS fix.
Technical innovation
New sealed, self-contained terminal design, 50 channel GPS module, high gain omni-directional antenna and the included NMEA 2000 and RJ45 cabling set SAILOR 6130 LRIT apart.
Accurate, reliable satellite fix and position, lower lifetime costs, no condensation issues and improved installation and maintenance thanks to unique cabling and upgraded design/technology.
Touchscreen operation
Operation is via the new SAILOR 6006 Message Terminal, which stands out as the world’s first touch screen, Wheelmarked GMDSS terminal.
The multimedia style interface is user-friendly, which in turn ensures the safe operation of the vessel’s IMO safety and tracking systems.
Efficient communication
SAILOR 6130 mini-C LRIT features ThraneLINK, a unique new system that enables efficient communication within the network.
Engineers can access a vessel’s network from a single point for lower maintenance and lifetime costs. The system also identifies new products in a network, making installation easier.
Overview
TT-00-406130A-00500 SAILOR 6130 mini-C LRIT Satellite Terminal Safety and Emergency System
This terminal is a single, self-contained and sealed unit, housing both antenna and transceiver. This design approach has proven to be rugged and reliable regardless of vessel type and application.
ImO Regulation
Long Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT) was adopted by the IMO in May 2006 as resolution MSC.202(81) and subsequently included in SOLAS chapter V. Vessels subject to LRIT are all passenger ships including high- speed craft, cargo ships, including high speed craft of 300 gross tonnage and above, and mobile offshore drilling units.
Why Standalone LRIT? Although some existing mini-C systems are LRIT compliant, some may be or may not be reliable. By installing a standalone LRIT terminal, you can be confident that it will perform to the required standards. With simple installation, the SAILOR 6130 mini-C LRIT offers a cost-effective reliable way to achieve LRIT compliance. The SAILOR 6130 mini-C LRIT comes complete with all cables and connectors included, making it ready to go out of the box. The standard connection cable to the mini-C terminal is 30M long, but can be extended up to 200M.
Operational Status
The SAILOR 6130 mini-C LRIT features a new, optional Thrane 6194 Terminal Control Unit (TCU), which brings new functionality to support day to day operation whilst ensuring compliance. It has a
range of LEDs so operators may quickly determine status such as power, Inmarsat log-in and GPS fix. This information can determine operational status of the system towards your flag ASP or other physical inspections.
Approvals and certification.
The SAILOR 6130 mini-C LRIT is approved by Inmarsat and major flag ASP state administrators. It is fully compliant with the performance requirements described in IMO Resolution MSC.263(84). Functional requirements for LRIT of ships are described in the IMO Circular MSC.1/Circ.1307: “Guidance on the survey and certification of compliance of ships”.
